Dr Pepper & KFC: Guitar Hero IV
Each year KFC has one promotional period where they strongly push beverages. Historically, Pepsi, because of its large budget, has owned this window. This year, Dr Pepper was able to out muscle Pepsi and gain the focus of the primary beverage window by bringing the video game property Guitar Hero to KFC and building a breakthrough promotion around it.
